MESSAGE: I
am trying to find a gunner I used to fly with back in the early 60's from Castle
AFB in B52s. I was the EWO and Fred Myers (Meyers?) and our pilot used to go
fishing after pulling alert up in the mountains of California. We had to walk
in to the lake since there was no roads into it and we had to camp out for
several days. Caught native trout on this beautiful lake. The pilot, Curtis
Eaton, was bored so he volunteered to be a fighter pilot and got his wish with
F-105 "Thuds" and got shot down and is now on the "Wall". I also got shot down
in an EB-66 but survived. I would love to connect with Fred if he is still
alive and maybe go fishing together.
Wayne H. Smith, Maj USAF (RET) Please email me at the above listed link.

MESSAGE: My
name is John P. Rumancik ....I was a Tail Gunner in a B-24 in the 8th AF...392nd
bomb group...576 sqd. during WWII.
I am looking for an "Aerial Gunners Wings Leather Patch". This is to be sewn on
my Leather Flight Jacket. It is about 3 1/4 inches long and 1 3/4 inches
wide......the gunners wings are etched on the leather strip. I would appreciate
if anyone could help me in obtaining one. I have looked at many places and have
had no success.....hopefully someone out there can locate one for me. Thanks,
John P. Rumancik
